School Holiday ideas for an epic summer

School Holiday ideas for an epic summer

We know during those 6 weeks(!) of summer school holidays, there are days when you're looking for a little inspo on things to see and do. Let us help you with that.

Here are some fun things happening these school holidays you might want to mark on the calendar.

Encounter – Take the kids on an augmented reality scavenger hunt

Encounter Scavenger Hunt Augmented Reality

Part digital scavenger hunt, part augmented reality, Encounter is like nothing you’ve ever experienced in Frankston before. To begin, you’ll need to download the EyeJack app, then unlock the clues that solve the riddles to reveal the secret locations of seven different artworks.

From watching the moon spin behind a giant skeleton to listening as a wise old soul plays you a tune, the artworks are truly out of this world. It's the perfect family activity to explore and discover the city.

The Encounter experience is available until March 2022

Peninsula Waterbikes

Peninsula Waterbikes are super easy, and fun; and a great way to discover our beautiful coast. Easy to ride and navigate they’re just like riding a bike!  You can even pop on an inflatable deck that attaches to the back, perfect for kids to enjoy the ride too.

Looking for something more traditional? Hire a boat, kayak or stand up paddle board for an afternoon of bay cruising and fishing from Frankston Boat Hire. Open every day (subject to weather) you'll find them at Kananook Creek, at the end of Davey St.
