The Frankston Visitor Information Centre and Discover Frankston website are operated by Frankston City Council. You can access information and advice from the Frankston Visitor Information Centre and access the Discover Frankston website anonymously and we do not attempt to individually identify you unless you choose to provide your details to make a booking, submit a query or make a suggestion.

What information do we collect?

In an effort to keep our service as simple and easy as possible, we do not create, use or store profiles of our customers. We only record the information needed to process your request or booking:

•    Make a booking - your full name, address, email address and phone number are taken each time you make a booking with discoverfrankston.com.
•    Contact us via discoverfrankston.com - your full name, address, email address and/or telephone number are requested when you submit a query or suggestion or request assistance with a booking.
 
Our website does not collect or store credit card details and payment transactions occur directly between your bank and the SecurePay Payment gateway provider.
 
How do we use your information?

Frankston Visitor Information Centre uses your information for the purpose of responding to and fulfilling your requests for our products and services. Your information is not used for any other purpose unless authorised by law. Information you provide on discoverfrankston.com may be used to:

•    Purchase Frankston Visitor Information Centre products or services - information collected when you purchase from discoverfrankston.com is used to charge your credit card and deliver your booking confirmation electronically. We may also contact you about your stay for customer service purposes or to make any changes or cancellations to your booking.
•    Respond to your questions or suggestions - we will use your address, email address and/or telephone number to contact you when you submit a question or suggestion.
 
Who do we share your information with?

Frankston Visitor Information Centre discloses your information to event and tour suppliers to enable your booking to be made. We do not disclose information for any other purpose except where authorised by law.

The guest name, telephone number, address and email address for each booking is provided to the relevant supplier. Our Event and Tour Suppliers require this information for the booking and if they need to contact you about the booking. Although Frankston Visitor Information Centre offers Events and Tours from reputable suppliers, we do not have control over how these suppliers use, disclose and manage the information we provide. Therefore, we encourage you to review the privacy policies of any suppliers whose Events and Tours you purchase on discoverfrankston.com.
 
How do we keep your information secure?

The Discover Frankston website uses the Bookeasy platform to process bookings, which in turn uses SecurePay payment gateway to process payments securely. SecurePay is Payment Card Industry Data Security (PCI DSS) compliant. All information transmitted via Bookeasy is encrypted for security.

Our website also includes online forms to enable you to contact us and request services. These are also encrypted for secure transmission of your information.

Frankston Visitor Information Centre aims to take all practical steps to secure your information online, however all internet transactions have some inherent risk. Please contact us if you have any concerns regarding the security of your information.
