New ways to discover Frankston's street art

Are you ready for Frankston's digital art future?

Since 2018, Frankston has played host to the annual Big Picture Fest, which has well and truly put the City on Victoria's street art map!

The Festival has transformed the city's skyline with large scale masterpieces from world renowned artists, adding to the local mural works and graffiti art that is splashed throughout the heart of the city.

Four years on, the city's collection now includes 40 mega murals. Each with its own story, artist and background. In March each year the collection grows again when the Big Picture Fest returns, bringing with it a world of new colour, shapes and movement.

As the collection grows, so do expectations. To amplify Frankston's the street art, the City has created a range of ways for you to experience the art your way. You may already know about the Street Art Walking Tours, which will include Twilight Tours from 26 November, but did you know that as summer hits you will have the opportunity to go beyond the wall with the new Augmented Reality (AR) and digital art experience ENCOUNTER
