Dinner and Drinks - lockdown style
Even though we're in lockdown, there are still ways to add some fun to your weekends. .
Some of our local restaurants are putting on some great offers this weekend. Why not give yourself a night off cooking, support a local business and, even better, give yourself something to look forward to! We've put together some ideas below, but there are lots of fantastic restaurants in Frankston City offering take away and delivery. You can discover these here.
A Turkish feast made to be shared
It's Parcha's 2nd birthday and it's another birthday in lockdown, so to celebrate they've decided to open for dinner (as there's not much else to do!) So if you're feeling like a Turkish feast, and want to join in on the celebrations, then check out their menu and see what takes your fancy. The Parcha crew recommend pre ordering to select your preferred time slot.
Argentinian Tapas
Newly opened Mexican Cantina is an Argentinian Tapas Bar. As new kids on the block, it would be great to send these guys some love! They've created some lockdown packs that include crowd favourites as well as Argentinian Beers. Head over to their insta page to see what's on offer.
Create your own Pho
Local favourite Madam Mekong love bringing the flavours of Hanoi to Frankston. During lockdown they're offering take home Pho kits to help satisfy those Vietnamese food cravings. There are four different flavours to choose from so everyone's sure to be happy.
A Paella Fest
This Saturday and Sunday (July 24 + 25), the Spanish Bar in Seaford are having a Paella Fest. For $15 you'll get a serve of Paella plus a beer, sangria or soft drink. If you're keen, give them a call on 8712 5268 or send them a PM via Facebook.
How about a free dessert?
Frankston Waterfront Restaurant is offering anyone with pick up orders over the phone of $40 or above, a FREE Sticky Date Pudding with butterscotch sauce and Vanilla ice cream. Perfect for a winter night cocooned on the couch! To check out their menu head to their website.

The Godfather of cocktail making kits
The creative crew at That Spirited Lot have created a range of different cocktail making kits that you can by online or have delivered. Newbie favourite features the GODFATHER COFFEE VODKA. Grab a Hop Shop Growler
For the duration of lockdown, The Hop Shop are running one almighty special. You can get your very own Growler plus a 2 Litre fill of either Playne St Draught or Pale Ale for $25/$29. With growler vessels normally valued at $20, you could say that's either 2 Litres of Draught for $5....or $9 for Pale Ale. Not Bad! You'll find the Hop Shop open during lockdown,12pm - 6pm, closed Monday + Wednesday.
Doing Dry July?
If you are participating in Dry July, don't want to drink alcohol, or just want to have a couple less alcoholic drinks, then Biersal Brewery have something exciting for you! They have imported in from Baravia, two special alcohol-free beers that will be available at the brewery this weekend! For just $8, the price of a schooner, you won't be stuck for choice this July! You'll find the bottle shop open Thursday to Sunday 2pm to 7pm.
