The event runs from 4.30pm – 9.30pm. The Christmas tree lighting and fireworks display will be at approximately 9.15pm.
It’s free to attend Frankston’s Christmas Festival, and there are plenty of free activities, however, you should bring some money/credit card in case you would like to purchase food, beverages, market items, or ride tickets.  
There will be a large range of food and beverage vendors on site, with plenty of variety to cater for different dietary requirements and taste buds.  More information coming soon.
The Little Beauty Christmas Market will be back for all to enjoy. The park also offers a great view of the fireworks!  
The official Christmas parade starts at the corner of High and Young Streets at 6:00pm and travels north towards Davey Street.
Santa will be ready to have a chat about your Christmas wishes and pose for your own photo at Santa’s House located in Cube 37, Frankston Arts Centre on Davey Street.  Santa’s House will be open from 5.00-9pm. 
Get ready for spins, turns, giggles and squeals of delight — the Rides and Amusement Precinct returns to Baxter Street for 2025!
No. There will be free performances of the show at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm on a first-come-first served basis and cannot be booked in advance. The duration of the show is approximately 20-25 minutes. Doors open from 4:30pm.

Check out the European Village Stage this year and enjoy an array of different performances between 430pm and 9pm. There will also be roving performers adding surprise and delight throughout the event site.
Gather around the Norfolk Pine from 9.15pm for our Tree Lighting Ceremony and fireworks display. If it looks like weather will impact the fireworks proceeding, announcements will be made on the night. The fireworks will be launched from behind the Civic Centre which is located on the corner of Young and Davey streets.   
Yes. If the road is closed, however, exclusion zones will be in place to ensure your safety. Please follow any direction given to you by festival staff, security, SES, CFA or Victoria Police and do not enter the exclusion zones at any time.  Please ensure you are only occupying the sections of roads closed to vehicles.   
Yes, Victoria Police officers and security staff will be monitoring the event and taking a zero-tolerance approach to anti-social behaviour.  
The Festival information and first aid marquee will be located near the corner of Davey and Young Street intersection.  
Public toilets will be available along Davey Street, Young Street, Plowman Place and Beauty Park. Permanent facilities will be open within Frankston Arts Centre, Cube 37, and Frankston Library. Accessible toilets are available at each of these locations. 
No, all of our exhibitors have EFTPOS facilities.
There will be several hydration stations at the event on Young Street and Beauty Park. Please bring a water bottle to fill up and stay hydrated throughout the festival. 
No, this is a family-friendly event. Smoking and vaping is not permitted within the event site.   
We do not recommend bringing your dogs to the event. Due to crowd numbers, loud noises and the fireworks display at 9.15pm, some dogs may become overwhelmed. If you choose to bring a pet to the Festival, please ensure they are in your control and remain on lead at all times, avoid crowded areas and carry poo bags and dispose of waste in bins provided.
Yes. A portable parent pod will be located in Beauty Park opposite the playground. Equipped with a baby change table, comfortable feeding chair and mini kitchenette. There are also change facilities in the Frankston Arts Centre and Frankston Library. 
In some conditions it may be necessary for aspects of the event to be modified. In extreme conditions where it is deemed unsafe to continue, programming may be delayed or cancelled.    You can keep up to date by following the Frankston’s Christmas Festival Facebook and Instagram pages for live updates.
Please avoid entering the Precinct via Playne Street due to road closures. Significant delays will be experienced in the area, so please follow detour signage and travel by public transport where possible.

We suggest using the following public car parks, however, fees and restrictions may apply, so please check signage. 

- Bayside Shopping Centre 
- Frankston Waterfront 
- High Street 
- Bayside Entertainment Complex 
- Frankston Railway Station 
We recommend guests using public transport to travel to the event to avoid the inconvenience of road closures and traffic given anticipated attendance numbers. Please visit the Public Transport Victoria website to plan your journey.
Road closures will be in place on the following roads from 6:00am Saturday 29 November to 3:00am Sunday 30 November: 

DAVEY STREET closed between Baxter Street and Nepean Highway 

YOUNG STREET closed between High Street and Playne Street 

BAXTER STREET closed between Davey Street and Park Street

PLOWMAN PLACE open to local traffic only, via Bay Street South 
Frankston City Council are making every effort to ensure our events are accessible and enjoyable for all.

Pathways - There are flat footpaths and paved roads throughout the festival. In Beauty Park there are components of the event situated on grass pathways, and some undulating hills on Young Street.  

  Low Sensory area - There are a lot of noises, lights and people who attend this event. The Frankston Library is a space where you can go with lesser noise and activity until 8:00pm.  This fun, safe, accessible, and inclusive space is perfect for children and adults wanting to seek some calm at the event. 

Seating/ Shade – Frankston’s Christmas Festival is an outdoor event. Tables, chairs and umbrellas will be available throughout the event site, near the Festival Dining precincts. We encourage attendees to bring a rug and rest on the grass in Beauty Park, and dress for weather conditions including a hat and sunscreen.
