Programming and Entertainment

The fireworks are scheduled for 9.45pm on Saturday 8 February. They will be launched from the end of Frankston Pier (the pier will close from 4pm on Saturday). 


You will be able to see the fireworks from anywhere within the event site, along the coastline, from Olivers’ Hill, the Olivers hill boat ramp and Kinetic Stadium.

No. The Waterfront Festival finishes at 10pm on Saturday 8 February. 


The rides will remain open to the public on Sunday 9 February from 12-6pm - last ticket sales at 5.45pm

You will be able to access the pier on Friday night. On Saturday the pier will close to the public at 4pm to prepare for the fireworks display (scheduled for 9.45pm). The pier will reopen to the public at 11pm on Saturday. 

There are two performance areas at the Waterfront Festival.  


The Waterfront Stage located in the Garden Bar and the World Kitchen presented by Ventana located in the Waterfront Village. Details regarding the programs for each stage can be found on the website. 

There are 11 bands in total playing across the Friday night and Saturday of the Waterfront Festival.

There will be a range of food and drinks available at the Waterfront Festival including in the Food Truck Square (Friday and Saturday), Garden Bar (Friday and Saturday) and Waterfront Village (Saturday only). For more information check out the website.  

There is a range of food vendors catering for many dietary needs in the Food Truck Square (Friday night and Saturday), Waterfront Village (Saturday only) and Garden Bar (Friday night and Saturday).


Where possible, vendors have provided an indication of what dietary requirements they cater to.

No. Unfortunately the Scouts will not be attending the Waterfront Festival in 2025, and as such there will be no canoeing on the creek.
