Frankston City Libraries is your community lounge room serving the information, entertainment and online needs for all. Not only do they have an incredible range of books, author talks, story times, and other events, they also have the unique ‘Library of Things’. A curated selection of unconventional resources ranging from gadgets to tools, kits, and electronics, all yours to explore for free with a library card.
You’ll have to wait until February for this two day summer festival, but trust us, it’s always worth the wait!
Spanning 10kms of incredible coastline, Frankston beach attracts people all year round. Families looking for a place to swim, the early risers on their stand up paddle boards, open water swimmers, dog walkers, runners, kids building sandcastles. The coast calls you all year round.
Arguably one of Port Phillip Bay’s most stunning viewpoint, camera buffs, runners, walkers, travellers, all enjoy taking in this incredible view. If you’re down on the waterfront, it’s always worth the walk up the hill.

George Pentland Botanical Gardens
A little oasis in the middle of the city, walk through fern gullies, picnic beside ornamental lakes, and experience some of Australia's beautiful native flora. There is also a great children’s playground together with barbecues and picnic areas.
Frankston Visitor Information Centre
Local gems, local insights, local tips and local love is their jam. Located just near the Frankston pier, the visitor information centre also has a gorgeous range of locally inspired gift wares and souvenirs.
PARC – Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre
Looking for some fun in the water but don’t want to head to the coast? Come and discover a multi-level water attraction that has awesome water slides for every age. With jets, valves, spray nozzles, a spinning water wheel and a giant tipping bucket, the AquaPlay™ will keep kids entertained for hours.
When the sun is shinning, we head to Pines. Whether it’s early morning laps in the outdoor pool or an afternoon swim and cheeky waterslide ride, it’s always a lot of fun. Traditionally open November to April, keep an eye out for their Free Family Fridays where they fire up the BBQ for a free sausage sizzle.
Sports lovers, this is the place for you. Jubilee Park Stadium is the heart of Frankston’s sporting community with six multipurpose indoor courts, 13 outdoor netball courts, three AFL fields and cricket pitches, walking paths and more. The stadium often hosts major sporting tournaments with a 1000 seat show court.
Regular shows, entertainment, events, live music and of course great good, there’s always something happening at Frankston RSL.
This iconic pub has been on the corner of Nepean Hwy and Davey St for more than 100 years. With a family friendly bistro and relaxed atmosphere, it’s the perfect 'local' for all to enjoy.
A photographer’s dream. This waterfront landmark gives you some of the best sunset views of Melbourne’s coastline. A popular meeting spot for walkers, riders or those keen for a coffee by the water.
Your entertainment mecca for mini golf, martinis, nights out, movies, meals and mates. By day or by night, there's always something happening.
If you need a little retail fix, you’ll find over 200 of your favourite brands to browse. Hungry? There are over 30 places to choose from to satisfy those taste buds.

Located opposite Frankston’s iconic football oval, Beauty Park is another natural gem if you’re looking for a shady spot to lay a picnic rug, or watch the ducks play under the fountain on the ornamental lake. If you’re up for a bit of a wander, Beauty Park links Frankston Waterfront with Frankston's George Pentland Botanic Gardens. From September – April you’ll find the Little Beauty Market here on the fourth Saturday of the month.
Ballam Park is the home of playtime. Fun for all ages, with two large playgrounds, water play space, basketball court, tennis wall, outdoor gym, dog off leash area, picnic tables and barbeques. The perfect spot for families.
