SWEL’s work fuses motion graphics, animation, cartoon aesthetics, and graffiti into a bold, kinetic visual language. His early involvement in graffiti was fuelled by his passion in animation and design. As technology evolved, so did his approach—integrating digital tools, 3D design, and animation techniques to push the boundaries of traditional graffiti.
His career in motion has made impact in advertising, live performances, television and sports broadcasting. His DJ career has seen him travel to many parts of the globe. This audio/visual aesthetics come through in his style, bridging the digital and physical. He continues to express his ideas through a mix of mediums, injecting elements of these subcultures into many applications, proving that graffiti can thrive and evolve in the age of technology.
‘Logical Progression’ is an experiment in light, geometry, sound and architectural form - reimagining graffiti lettering through the lens of motion and technology. The piece combines projection mapping with traditional and 3D animation, transforming static walls into shifting canvases where letters bend, morph, and shift with kinetic energy, pushing the boundaries of graffiti’s visual language, turning traditional lettering into a fluid, immersive experience.
