Street Art Festival 2025 People's Choice Award

We’re excited to announce that the People’s Choice Award is back for another year, and we can’t wait for the community to get involved!

Last year’s People’s Choice winner, Candela Alconada is officially featured in this year’s Frankston Street Art Festival 2025 lineup! After capturing hearts with her vibrant, culture-inspired murals, Candela is set to bring her signature bright designs and global influences to our streets in March.

The People’s Choice Award, proudly presented by Frankston City Council, is your opportunity to help select another incredible artist for next year’s festival.

You can read about the artists below. Voting for the People's Choice Award has now closed. The winner will be announced at the Frankston Street Art Festival Launch Party on Tuesday 18 March.   

Patrick Indo

Patrick Edward Indo, known as INDO, is an acclaimed Australian mural and street artist based in Rosebud, Victoria. His bold works fuse Chilean South American heritage with urban aesthetics, transforming public spaces. With a background in graphic design, he transitioned from a decade-long design career to full-time art. INDO has collaborated with major brands, councils, and organizations, earning awards and shaping communities through vibrant, storytelling murals.

Paul Riot

I’ve been involved in Graffiti and Street Art for 15 years, painting across Australia and internationally at festivals like ‘Southend City Jam.’ Co-running ‘Walls Out West’ and assisting artists on major projects has deepened my passion. This year, I helped Calum on his ‘Rat Bag’ mural and connected with incredible artists. I’d love to return to Frankston next year to contribute my own work to its vibrant community.

Lynn Bremner

I’m a street artist based in Footscray, with 16 commissioned murals across Melbourne and uncommissioned works in spots like Hosier Lane. I’d love to join this festival to share my art beyond the CBD. Frankston was one of the first places I visited after moving to Australia, and I admire its proud community. I’d love to create something they can celebrate and connect with.

Father Marker

As a Mornington Peninsula artist, I’ve always felt connected to Frankston’s street art scene. I was honored to be shortlisted for the 2024 BPF People’s Choice Award, which fueled my passion despite not winning. Since then, I’ve completed several community murals in Frankston, deepening my ties. I’m excited to apply for 2026, eager to represent local talent and contribute to the city’s evolving artistic landscape.

Emily Wright

I love working as a mural artist and would be honored to collaborate with incredible creatives. My work explores nature and our connection to the environment, and I’d love to bring that into the urban landscape. Though I live in Torquay, I’ve been a Frankston craft market stallholder for years and feel connected to the area. It would be a privilege to contribute my art to this vibrant community.

Jarrad Martyn

I'm excited to contribute to Frankston's Street Art Festival 2025, a platform for creative expression that connects communities through engaging murals. My work blends ambiguous visual narratives with local history, deepening the sense of place. This event offers a chance to collaborate with fellow artists and be part of Frankston’s evolving art scene. I’d love to bring my vision to this dynamic and inspiring community.

Arina Apostolova

I’m a Ukrainian artist and architect based in Windsor, Victoria, with a deep connection to Seaford and Frankston. Many clients here have become close friends, making this community feel like home. Joining Frankston’s Street Art Festival would allow me to share a meaningful, non-commercial piece I’ve been developing. I’m excited to contribute something unique and impactful to this vibrant celebration of creativity and community.

I’d love to be part of Frankston’s Street Art Festival next year. I’ve admired past works and heard amazing things from friends. It would be an incredible opportunity to contribute to Frankston’s public art and connect with the community. Elizabeth Gleeson is known for her vividly patterned artworks, blending bold colors and intricate details into immersive pieces. Inspired by symmetry, world-building, history, and botanicals, her folk-nouveau style transitions seamlessly from fine art to large-scale murals. Fresh from painting her largest mural in Japan, she continues to bring her unique perspective to street art, creating striking works that captivate audiences and transform public spaces.
