Christmas Festival Fireworks and Tree Lighting,
proudly presented by Betty's Burgers
9.15pm Norfolk Pine Tree, Davey Street
Perhaps the most iconic moment of Frankston's Christmas Festival is the fireworks and tree lighting at the end of the night's entertainment.
It's the moment when families, couples and friends from near and far step out of the restaurants, hop off the rides, pause their Christmas shopping and turn towards the City's historic Norfolk Pine Tree, as we ring in the Christmas season with an awe-inspiring fireworks display before turning on the tree lights.
A tradition for many and the first time for some - make sure you are there at 9.15pm to be a part of it.
The best place to see the fireworks is from the Davey and Young Streets intersection, but if you head to Beauty Park, you can enjoy the view of the fireworks too.
Please note: fireworks will not be launched from the Frankston Oval this year due to turf works currently in progress.
Don't worry if you miss the tree lighting. Every night following the Festival at 8pm throughout December the tree lights will turn on so you will have more chances to see the tree in all of its glory.
