New to the Frankston Christmas Festival in 2024

A Melbourne Christmas event that signals the start of the festive season, Frankston's Christmas Festival beckons families, couples and friends of all ages, from near and far, to join together to celebrate the season their way. 

Festival Highlights in 2024

New in 2024 there will be a European Christmas Village to explore, the festive tunes of the Itchy Feet Pep Band will give you a pep-in-your-step, and for those who dare to don their Ugly Christmas sweater, there’s a special place for you to meet like-minded Christmas die-hards. 

The Looney Tunes Christmas Extravaganza Live Stage Show will be live on stage in the Arts Centre; the Little Beauty Christmas Twilight Market is back at Beauty Park; local businesses will help you start you Christmas shopping in Local's Lane; the City’s most colourful and fun community, sporting and dance groups will lead the Official Christmas Parade; and there will be heaps of free Christmas activities for the kids throughout the Library. 

For something a little different – Always Live – End of the Line Frankston will take over Playne Street and the rides and amusements will relocate to Young Street car park (between Tasman Meats and Young Street Medical). 

And of course, it wouldn’t be Frankston’s Christmas Festival without Santa, the tree lighting and the most amazing and unforgettable fireworks (at 9.15pm). 

It’s all there. Bigger, brighter, and more festive than ever before.
