Parking, Toilets, Access and More
This event is an opportunity for the community to come together to celebrate the festiveseason with a range of entertainment, activities and food on offer. The event site is accessible from all directions and entry is free.
Parking
We suggest using the following public car parks, however, fees and restrictions may apply, so please check signage.

Accessible Drop Off Point - If you are arriving via rideshare or taxi to the event and/or require a drop off location close to the festival, the drop off point is located in front of the Frankston Library on Playne Street, just before the Young Street intersection.
ROAD CLOSURES
Vehicles will not be able to access the following roads from 6am Saturday 30 November to 4am Sunday 1 December:

DAVEY STREET - closed between Baxter Street and Nepean Highway

YOUNG STREET - closed between High Street and Playne Street

PLAYNE STREET - closed between Young Street and Thompson Street

PLOWMAN PLACE - open to local traffic only, access from Bay Street South

Public Transport
Please visit www.ptv.vic.gov.au to plan your journey. The closest train station is Frankston Train Station which is less than 1km from the festival. This is also where most buses to Frankston arrive and depart from. Please consider any schedule disruptions that may be in effect.
Facilities
Toilets – Public toilets will be available along Davey Street, Young Street, Plowman Place and Beauty Park. Permanent facilities will be open within Frankston Arts Centre, Cube 37, and Frankston Library. Accessible toilets are available at each of these locations.
Water - There will be several hydration stations at the event on Young Street and Beauty Park. It is recommended you bring a water bottle to fill up and stay hydrated throughout the day.
Seating/ Shade – Frankston’s Christmas Festival is an outdoor event. Tables, chairs and umbrellas will be available throughout the event site, near the Festival Dining precincts. We encourage attendees to bring a rug and rest on the grass in Beauty Park, and dress for weather conditions including a hat and sunscreen.
Pathways - There are flat footpaths and paved roads throughout the festival. In Beauty Park there are components of the event situated on grass pathways, and some undulating hills on Young Street.
Sensory Space - Library 4.30-8.00pm
Peninsula Autism Friendship Group is an autistic-led, non-profit organisation providingconnection and support to neurodivergent individuals and their families.We will be offering a calm sensory space for families who need a break from the excitementof the Frankston Christmas Festival. The space will include sensory activities, space tounwind, and supportive facilitators.

Alcohol cannot be consumed onsite (excluding licensed premises in Playne & Young Streets)

For local residents, please ensure your pets are securely contained at home during the fireworks display between 9.15 and 9.30pm
