Local community groups like the SES, Red Cross, Beyond Blue, RSPCA, and more will be there chatting about their services and running fun, interactive sessions. It’s the perfect spot to connect, learn, and get involved!
Life Saving Victoria
Beach Safety Activities
12-6pm
Head to the Lifestyle Precinct and take part in Life Saving Victoria's sensory water safety experience, where kids can learn all about water safety in a fun, dry environment. The 5x5m dome is packed with interactive activities tailored to different sensory needs, giving everyone a chance to learn in a safe, hands-on way.
The red and yellow crew will also be on hand to chat with parents and caregivers about water safety. It’s an awesome way for kids to get familiar with water while having fun and staying safe!
Safe Transport Victoria
The team at Safe Transport Victoria are all about promoting smart travel across Victoria - making sure your journeys, whether in a commercial vehicle, on a bus, or in our waterways, are smooth and safe. Catch them at the Waterfront Festival chatting about their jet skit safety - Cool Your Jets campaign. From speed limits and keeping your distance, to always wearing your life vest and riding sober, they've got you covered.
Swing by for life jacket demos, free safety stickers, and even a chance to share your thoughts on jet ski safety. Let’s keep the water fun and safe!
Australian Red Cross

Come and visit our friendly team at Australian Red Cross on the Pier Promenade who will be providing community information for disaster preparedness, recovery and information for the community.

Looking for a way to give back and make a real difference? Or maybe you're a new learner driver looking for help to build up your practice hours? Then the L2P program might just be what you're after! Swing by the L2P team to check out the L2P vehicle, learn how to use the myLearners app, or take the online Practice Hazards Perception test.
Want to make a bigger impact? Find out how you can become a mentor and help 16-23-year-olds get the 120 hours of driving experience they need. Applications will be available on-site. So, come chat with the team and see how you can help improve road safety and change a young person’s life!
Beyond Blue
Whether you're looking to learn more about mental wellbeing, access helpful information, or simply enjoy the festivities with your loved ones, the team at Beyond Blue have got something for everyone. Stop by our stall in the Lifestyle Precinct to chat with the team, pick up some free resources, and take part in the free activities.
CPR Lab
Stop in to chat to the CPR Lab team during Festival Day Saturday. St John Mobile CPR Lab is an exciting way to help people learn and improve their lifesaving skills for free. The 10-minute interactive sessions teach CPR – delivered via state-of-the-art facility, equipped with bluetooth-connected manikins to provide immediate feedback on individual CPR techniques
South East Water
Head to the South East Water stall in the Lifestyle Precinct to learn why we need to save water while testing your skills and knowledge with our bean bag toss game – you may even score a prize! Come meet the team, have a chat, and fill up your water bottle from our hydration station.
Victorian Health Building Authority
The Frankston Hospital Redevelopment pop-up is coming to the Waterfront Festival on Saturday. Chat to the team to learn about the bigger, better Frankston Hospital, see the hospital construction progress and learn what's coming next! There will also be mini colouring books and high-vis vests for our smallest construction enthusiasts.
The Victorian Government is delivering a $1.1 billion redevelopment of Frankston Hospital. This is the largest ever health infrastructure investment in Melbourne's south-east. The redevelopment will transform services at the hospital, improving health outcomes across the region.
