Description

Mulberry Hill is a heritage-listed estate located in Langwarrin South. It is open on Sundays for guided tours and available for wedding ceremonies in front of the house, events, or an intimate garden party in the grounds.

Mulberry Hill was the home of the writer Joan Lindsay and her husband Sir Daryl Lindsay an artist from 1926 to 1984. Designed by Harold Desbrowe Annear, this magnificent American Colonial style-home was built in 1926 as an extension to a pre-existing 1880s weatherboard cottage.

The estate is set in 14.5 acres of beautiful gardens and bushland in a relaxing oasis. Joan Lindsay left the house to the National Trust when she died.

Mulberry Hill is closed during July and August each year.
