Your summer line up of festivals, events and live music has just landed

An epic 9 month line up of festivals and events has just been announced with celebrations of summer, live music, festivals, immersive art installations, sporting events and so much more.

Get your calendar, here we go.

Kicking off in September (literally!), Kinetic Stadium is the home ground for Hawthorn AFLW. The season opener will see two iconic Melbourne teams reignite local rivalry with Hawthorn playing Essendon in Round 1 on Saturday 2 September.  There will be around-the-ground entertainment for the whole family to enjoy and an atmosphere like no other, watching the game under the Frankston’s sunset sky. You can also catch the Hawks in action in rounds 4, 5, and 9 at Kinetic Stadium.

Market lovers, gather close. We know how much you love a shop and browse and we have two incredible markets returning this summer season. Little Beauty will be charming market goers again this year with not only their regular Saturday morning markets, but a twilight and special Christmas market too.  With nearly 100 specially curated stallholders, this market will give you plenty of ooh and ahh moments at Beauty Park, Frankston.

For those who love to browse a market with a cocktail in hand and a waterfront sunset as their backdrop, the Sunset Twilight Markets are all for you.  Held monthly on a Friday night from October – January along the Frankston Waterfront, the vibe is relaxed, with plenty of stalls, food trucks and live music to really set the mood.  Friday nights at the waterfront just got a new vibe.

Ho, Ho, Ho! Frankston’s Christmas Festival of Lights returns again celebrating 25 years of this magical event. Filled to the brim with all the magic, wonder and joy the season brings, get ready for a night of live entertainment, Christmas music, performers, activities for the kids, and of course Santa!  Did we mention, the Little Beauty Christmas market? Celebrate the magic of the Tree Lighting followed by everyone’s favourite fireworks display to kick off the festive season. Saturday November 25, 5-10pm, Davey Street, Frankston

Music Festivals are back baby, and we have two to get you dancing and moving. Lucky Day Out NYE returns to Frankston for a second year. This New Year’s Eve music fest sold out in 2022 so make sure you organise your crew and get your tickets early! With a killer line up of your favourite DJs, it’s definitely a NYE to remember.  Sunday December 31, 6pm – late, Kinetic Stadium

Let's Reminisce about this one! In 2011, Frankston's Belar Avenue was the backdrop for the inception of a musical phenomenon that would sweep the nation. From humble backyard origins to iconic venues, Reminisce quickly became an unmissable festival event. A decade later, as part of their national tour, Reminisce Decades is here with a return to its roots. Kinetic Stadium will be the place to be, as they count down the top 50 house tracks of the past 10 years. With a major line-up announced soon, this will be a dance event that bridges decades. Friday January 26, 2-10pm, Kinetic Stadium
