        As the weather starts to warm up and restrictions for playgrounds ease, it's time to get some fresh air, burn some energy and explore the best playgrounds in Frankston City. Frankston City has many parks, reserves and playgrounds to choose from that offer opportunities for fun and adventure for children of all ages and abilities. 

We have also included details of where playgrounds are close to local coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. Therefore you can grab a bite to eat before or after your play, or grab a takeaway coffee. Don't forget your reusable coffee mug!

Frankston Regional Foreshore Playground

                   
   
           

Frankston Regional Foreshore Playground is perfect for a broad range of ages and abilities who love being kings and queens of their castles. Designed to complement the natural environment surrounding the playground, the new design encourages imaginative play as well as traditional playground fun. It is castle themed and contains everything from bridges, sand play zones and plenty of swings and slides to capture the imagination and provide hours of fun.

There is a Liberty Swing for children with mobility difficulties, so everyone can get involved; this is in addition to standard and all abilities BBQs and picnic tables. 

           

Parents can enjoy a coffee from Sofia's Family Restaurant while the kids making use of this amazing playground!

Nestled in behind Frankston Hospital and surrounded by residential streets, the picturesque George Pentland Botanic Gardens is an oasis at all times of year.

With a unique nature themed playground that your children MUST visit, this play space has a dream time story circle (fire pit) providing children with the opportunity to connect with local indigenous stories and accessible round-about tree as the main focus for play. There are also traditional forms of play equipment such as swings, a seesaw and slides for your kids to enjoy.

The play equipment is quite different to traditional playgrounds which makes this park very exciting. Your kids will be begging you to take them back
