Foodie's Festival at The Waterfront

The Waterfront Festival returns to Frankston on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 of February 2023 with a multicultural food phenomenon across 30 food trucks, set to tempt Foodies from all over Melbourne.

Grab a snack

Start your foodie trail with a visit to Flamin Skewers for a unique Cambodian street BBQ experience, then hit up Twisted spudz and dogz for a twisted potato with a choice of seasoning. Sample some salt and pepper calamari with homemade tartar sauce from Captain Calamari, followed by jalapeño poppers from Lekker Lekker. Yum! For fresh and fruit acai bowls, check out The Holiday Parlour or try something new with a Panzerotti from Il Panzerotto Taste of Puglia

Sit down to feast

Lunch and dinner is covered with options galore, both gourmet and classic. There’s something for everyone! Choose from Fiesta Mexico’s soft tacos, Greek Masa’s souvlakis or some Crispy Southern fried chicken from Lip Smack’n Ribs and Rubs. You’ll find yummy wraps and chips at Schnitz or how about some authentic Italian pizza from Pizza Forno X’Press.

There'll be plenty of spots on the grass for you - bring along a picnic blanket or some folding chairs and kick back and relax! 

Finish with dessert

Sweet tooth? Satisfy your cravings with a delicious selection of tasty treats. Little Miss Whippy is big on taste with ice cream and gelato while Those Little Poffertjes will be offering Dutch pancakes with a variety of toppings. Or for something truly indulgent, don’t miss the Nutella donuts from Donut Panic or the fairy floss from Rainbow Fairy Floss. Don’t miss Crepe-Oolicious for sweet and savoury crepes.  

What’s to drink?

The Garden Bar, proudly presented by The Cheeky Squire, is the place to sit back with cool sips from local breweries, distilleries, wine makers and cocktail shakers. Highlights include The Cheeky Squire’s variety of brews and apple, strawberry and pear cider from Mr. Little Cider, not to mention freshly made cocktails and mocktails from Sugar Rims.

For non-alcoholic drinks, follow the sound of the sizzle to the Food Truck Square for Bubble Tea, juice, Chai, Boba, milkshakes and soft drinks. Plus, you’ll find all the usual tea, coffee and hot drink options.  

 

Vegan and vegetarian options

Melbourne Paella Company will showcase their iconic vegan and vegetarian paella, The Bao Project has a delicious vegan tandoori pumpkin Bao bun to enjoy and Paletto Pops offers gluten free gelato and sorbet pops. You’ll also find vegan ice cream options and100% fruit pops.
