- Summer beach restrictions for dogs starts on 1 December until the end of March annually.
- Dogs are not permitted on any beach between the hours of 9.30am and 7.30pm during: December, January, February and March
- Dogs are permitted on the beach before 9.30am and after 7.30pm provided they are under the effective control of a chain or leash.
- Dogs are prohibited from Frankston's Central Activities Area (CAA) - view the Dog Ban Area City Centre Map.
- Keep your dog on a lead at all times unless you are within a designated off-leash area.
- Ensure you are in effective control of your dog at all times.
- Always carry a scoop and bag so that you can clean up any waste left behind by your dog.
